This Thanksgiving Kellogg’s decided to give back to those in need with help from The American Red Cross in the Greater New York area. The American Red Cross humanitarian mission is to help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. For thanksgiving The American Red Cross in the Greater New York area is helping to feed those families who have been recently made homeless before thanksgiving holiday by setting up a thanksgiving dinner for them.
Hearing about this event representatives for Kellogg’s thought it would be a great idea to join in on this cause by donating bottles of their new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” product to this dinner. Kellogg’s new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” are due to be distributed nationwide next week but with help from the Greater New York Red Cross those in need will be the first to taste the new product. Tasty and nutritious the American Red Cross thought Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To Go” was the perfect desert beverage for those families left homeless this Thanksgiving holiday. Available in an assortment of thirteen flavors to chose from and even available with soy for those who are lactose intolerant or are allergic to milk the product received rave reviews from the families as well as the volunteers and staff members of the Greater New York Red Cross that also got a chance to taste Kellogg’s new product.
Going along with their theme of giving back to the community, this holiday weekend Kellogg’s discovered a clever way to promote their new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” to the public. For the popular shopping holiday Black Friday, Kellogg’s decided to hand out their new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” bottles to hungry shoppers in need of a healthy dose of natural energy as they made their holiday purchases. The drinks were handed out by Kellogg’s employees at booths set up in malls throughout the tri-state area from 4am till 2pm. Each customer received a bottle of the Fruit Smoothies “To Go” product in any flavor they desired along with a powder packet of Kellogg’s new revolutionary “to go” mix to take home. This promotional event was a great success for Kellogg’s since most food establishments within the malls were not open early for these early-bird holiday shoppers.
