Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Builds a Home in Times Square

Kellogg’s has decided to have their successful new product join the ranks of their other veteran products like Pop-Tart’s by creating Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Land. Kellogg’s has been using some experimental marketing tactics to promote there product lines and intends on making  a positive start to the New Year by creating a land of their own for there most popular new product Fruit Smoothies “To-Go”. Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” will be joining other food brands like M&M’s and Hershey with stores near Times Square that’s major focus is marketing and visibility rather than sales.

Designers for Kellogg’s new Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Land have described the concept of the design layout as something similar to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. The executive graphic designer of the project describes Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Land as “pure fantasy… it’s like heaven on earth but for fruit.” The 3,200 square foot shop on the south side of 42nd Street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway will run from January through June at which point executives will decide what direction to take the retail store in.

At Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Land customers will be able to try awesome desserts based on the Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” product line in their Smoothie Café designed with a large banana bar and a assortment of fruit designed bar stools. Customers will also be able to find flavorful gear and gifts for all of their fruit smoothie loving peeps. You can also make sweet custom t-shirts and even create your own assortment pack of your favorite Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” flavors using the Fruit Smoothie “Varietizer”. The Café Menu will also consist of a variety of crazy-creative and super delicious desserts from drink concoctions to pastry and ice cream delights. The grand opening of Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” Land will be sometime in late January of 2011.

Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” joins forces with The Make-A-Wish Foundation this Christmas!!

Kellogg’s and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have decided to join together this holiday season to bring three lucky wish children the ultimate Christmas gift. As part of the Make-A-Wish foundation’s  “Season of Wishes” Campaign Kellogg’s is giving three lucky wish kids an all expense paid trip for them and their families to Disney World. At Disney each child will get the VIP treatment and a dinner with Mickey and all of his friends in the Magic Kingdom Restaurant. The dinner will include a surprise performance from a special dinner guest and the prizes don’t just stop there. The winner will also be receiving a special edition Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” designed bike and a year supply of the new product.

The contest for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will consist of a storytelling competition open to all of the wish children that want to participate. This competition will allow each child interested to share there ultimate wishes with the world since the Make-A-Wish foundation will also be creating a book of wishes combining all of the participants stories. “We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy” is the mission statement of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” goes Sugar free!!

Kellogg’s has decided to expand their product line to a larger audience by making a line of their recently successful Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” product sugar free. This product will be available in six of the thirteen flavors already available on store shelves and will be geared towards health conscious people as well as diabetics. Kellogg’s having employees and representatives whom suffer from different types of diabetes is how this idea to make the popular snack beverage sugar free came to be.


Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar either because their body does not produce enough insulin or because the cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced. There are three main types that most diabetics suffer from referred to as type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. All of these types are subject to diet constraints with all food products containing sugar. Diabetics are encouraged daily to eat and drink foods full of vitamins, fiber and other essential nutrients. By making their Fruit Smoothies to-go “Sugar free” the product is now a great beverage option for those suffering from diabetes.

Kellogg’s has been working with the dietary technicians at the American Diabetes Association to make the beverage’s sugar free line as healthy as possible for diabetics without losing it’s flavorful taste. With their help the mixes for the sugar free line of smoothies “to-go” will use both fat free milk and light non-fat yogurt to help to make the drink even more nutritious. As part of the campaign for the new Sugar free Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” the former lead singer of poison and diabetic Bret Michaels will be the star of this campaign. The commercials for the will be showing him busy touring on the road struggling to fine something he can drink without his blood sugar raising too high when he finds a bottle of Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” that keeps him going throughout the rest of the day. Kellogg’s along with this campaign will be donating a percentage of the bottles and powder packets of Sugar free Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” sold to the American Diabetes Association to fund their “Stop Diabetes” movement to fund diabetes research.

Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” goes Disney!!

With the new year upon us, Kellogg’s will be launching a new edition to their main new products in the Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” product line. The product to be launched in early 2011 will be entitled Fruit Smoothies To-Go “minis”. The miniature version of the product will be available in stylish new graspable miniature bottles with Sippy tops. The style of the new bottles will be shaped and designed like some of the many popular classic Disney characters. Some of the many characters in this list of possible bottle designs will be the Disney princesses Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Arielle, Pocahontas and Jasmine as well as other popular characters like the Winnie the Pooh family, the Mickey Mouse crew, and newer characters like Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear and Nemo.

This product line will be catered towards a demographic of children ages’ two through ten and their parents. The product will be available in the same thirteen flavors as the original Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” product only with a creative Disney twist to their names. As part of this products partnership with Disney the product will be advertised on The Disney Channel and sold at Disney theme parks following the release of the product early next year.

Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To-Go” goes to College!!

Following the release of their new product Fruit Smoothies “To Go” Kellogg’s has decided to open up their product line to an all-new audience. Kellogg’s will soon be adding to a long list of beverage distributors for colleges throughout the country. Initially the product will be introduced on to college campuses as test markets with this age group then it will be nationally distributed within two months. Kellogg’s will be designing a campaign marketing their product to a younger generation of customers in college.

As we all know college students are always busy and eating on the go. Between their studies and extra curricular activities some find it quiet hard to find the time to eat a full meal let alone anything healthy. This is where Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To Go” come into the mix. Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To Go” is a unique tasty and nutritious snack that can also be used as a meal supplement and is a great source of antioxidants, fiber, calcium and vitamins A, C, D and E. It also comes in both liquid form in a bottle and a innovative powder form in packets that only require you to simply add water, ice and blend.

Kellogg’s has decided that they will begin marketing and distributing their products on college campuses on the east coast first. Starting with the city that never sleeps schools like NYU, FIT and Columbia will be some of the first college campuses to have the product distributed there. The product will then be distributed at other schools on the east coast like Suny Albany, Yale, Cornell, Northeastern, Penn State, and Duke University. Kellogg’s & Weight Watchers team up for their new program!!

Kellogg’s new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” have been released on to the shelves of food distributors nationwide this past Wednesday December 2 and people are already buzzing about the new product. Kellogg’s has also announced that they will be teaming with Weight Watchers to create a new simpler weight lose program. The program is entitled  “The PointsPlus Program” and has been established as an easy program catering to the same customers as Kellogg’s product, those busy people who are always on the go. This program will cater to your busy schedule and help you learn the simple ways to make healthier choices.

This is how the program works; each participant will be given a weight-loss plan based on the latest nutritional science. The beauty of this program is there are no required foods or beverages to purchase except for the Kellogg’s Fruit Smoothies “To Go” since they are a part of the everyday easy- to- follow plan. This program is also a flexible one that leaves freedom for participants to occasionally indulge in their favorite foods as well. Worried about constantly getting hungry throughout the day? Worry no longer with this new program; participants will stay fuller longer by focusing on a list of Power Foods, which includes some Kellogg’s products. Kellogg’s Decides “To Go” to the Moon!

NASA decides to add Kellogg’s new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” to their beverage menu of freeze-dried drinks. Kellogg’s working with NASA food technologists have discovered a way to turn their new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” products revolutionary powder form mix into a freeze dried form for astronauts to enjoy by simply adding water and ice at their rehydration station. Trying to expand their menu of foods and beverages available to astronauts on their long journeys into space NASA food technologists have worked hard with Kellogg’s over the past few months to discover a way to turn the new Fruit Smoothies “To Go” into a freeze dried form.

With this new discovery astronauts are ecstatic to be some of the first people to taste Kellogg’s new product and have the product as a healthy addition to there new an improved food and beverage menu.
